About Our Post & Pedestal Mount Lanterns:

Most of our post and pedestal mount designs started life on a wall or hanging from a portico. The application of one design to any use, is a very fluid process. If you see a pedestal mounted design, rest assured that it can be mounted on a post and vice versa.

It should be noted that any design can be adapted to almost any environment. And we, at Deep Landing Workshop can take any design and change its size and/or proportions to suit your needs. Yes, we’ll even modify the design, or create something completely different.

We mount all our post lanterns on a 3” collar, that has become the industry standard. We have seen older posts with square fitters. Since we make everything to order, we would be pleased to match our post collar to your post.

We don’t carry posts, but we would be glad to reference sources. Sometimes a small lantern can look out of scale when mounted on the standard 3” post. We offer reduced diameter posts for such situations. Keep in mind that any of our lanterns can be adapted to our custom posts, and the height would be to your specification.
